Headway Account Instructions
How to Set Up your Headway Account
Find the Headway Email: Check your email inbox for an email with the subject line - “Next Steps with {Your Provider Name}
→ If you can’t find this in your inbox, please check your Spam or Promotions folders
→ Ensure that you are using the same email address that you entered when you booked an appointment

→ If you still cannot find this email, please contact our care team (support@3yhealth.com , 346-512-0464) and they will resend it.
Start account creation: Click on the button that says “Create account”

Finish account creation: You will be asked to enter the following information in order to create your account
→ Insurance information (If you have provided this to us already, it will be autofilled)
→ Home address
→ Account information - phone number and password
→ Payment method

Log back into your account - Enter your email and password

View estimated cost: Once your account is complete, you will be able to see your estimated cost for your sessions at 3Y Health
→ If there are any errors or additional verification is needed, please complete the necessary steps
Headway FAQs
What is Headway?
→ Headway is an online platform that enables mental health providers to have appointments covered by insurance.
What does 3Y Health use Headway for?
→ 3Y Health uses Headway to 1) Credential our providers with health insurance plans, 2) Verify your insurance and share an estimated cost, and 3) File insurance claims for your appointments.
What do I use Headway for?
→ Headway is only used for billing - all appointment scheduling is on the 3Y Health Client Portal.
→ You will be able to login to your account at headway.com in order to view your estimated cost for sessions with your 3Y Health provider. You will also receive bills from Headway for your appointments.
Why do I need to add my payment information on Headway and the 3Y Health Client Portal?
→ Headway is used to bill any of your appointments that go through your health insurance.
→ The 3Y Health Client Portal is used to bill you for any costs that do not go through your health insurance, such as self pay appointments or late cancellation fees.
Where do I join my session?
→ You will join your session on the 3Y Health Client Portal. Do not try to join your session on Headway, as it is only used for billing.
